Multi Spindle CNC lathe for lead-free materials
ERGONOMICS, CONFIGURATION AND ACCESSORIES FACILITATE CHIP EVACUATION
One of the issues facing the manufacturing world is the handling and use of lead-free materials.
New European regulations are in fact moving in this direction, which the United States and Canada had already taken in the early 1980s.
Companies producing items such as taps, fittings and connectors - or more generally products that come into contact with water for human consumption, for example - will be obliged to use lead-free materials.
In the video, Francesco Bossoni: "Lead-free materials are a bit of a nightmare for every bar turner, because they are particularly difficult to machine due to the annoying - and long - swarf they produce. The ergonomics and configuration of the Linea Spindle multi spindle CNC lathe allows for simplified handling of lead-free material".
He continues: "The spindles are positioned vertically, which allows the swarf to fall naturally, avoiding the kinking that can compromise the entire machining process.
Bellows can also be integrated into the Linea Spindle CNC multi spindle lathe, which can be used to eliminate swarf that settles at the bottom of the multi spindle.
Ergonomics, configuration and accessories make the Linea Spindle a multi spindle CNC lathe that can also handle lead-free material very well.
