Linea Spindle, the linear multi spindle of Sala srl, at Emo Milano 2021
THE TRADE FAIR WILL BE HELD AT THE RHO EXHIBITION CENTRE, 4-9 OCTOBER 2021
Finally, we can look forward to actually attending a trade fair in person! And the great news is that Sala Srl and its Linea Spindle brand will be at this year’s EMO Milan from 4th to 9th October 2021.
“After almost two years away, it’s really important to attend a trade fair in order to give a clear sign of confidence and connect with our customers”, comments engineer Gianfranco Sala, CEO of Sala Srl. “In this period, our only contact has been virtual, and the technology has certainly been useful, but being able to see each other and talk face-to-face about needs, problems and technical solutions is worth so much more!”
EMO will be in Milan this year, and it will be an important step for everyone in the sector.
“It is extremely important for our company to participate in this three-yearly fair, which is the most important in the machine tools sector, and which is held in Milan only once every 6 years. The last time was in 2015, with the other editions taking place in Hanover in Germany.”
What news will Sala bring to EMO?
“It will definitely be a unique opportunity to present, in Italy, and to both national and international operators, such an innovative product as LINEA SPINDLE, the linear multi spindle that leverages the concept of lean manufacturing to revolutionize the production of precision parts turned from both bar and semi-finished pieces.
We’ll present the latest evolution of LINEA SPINDLE in a configuration with an integrated robotic feeding system.
The brand new system will also have sensors that continuously report machine data in real time, so that you can remotely monitor operating parameters, and be notified when the machine or a part of it is about to fail or need maintenance.
Thanks to this telemetry, processed with dedicated algorithms, the machines will be able to predict their own downtime and generate a notification before any fault occurs. Therefore, you get real ‘predictive maintenance’, with great advantages in terms of reducing downtime and increasing production efficiency.
