Quick set-up change? You are not the first...
THIS IS WHAT I HEAR WHEN I TELL ABOUT THE QUICK SET-UP CHANGE
You are not the first, they tell me, we already do it....
It's true!
I'm not the first to talk about rapid set-up change in the multispindle, I admit, but when I ask them to show me rapid set-up change - or explain it to me - they always start from the same point.
The steps they tell me are always the same but I stop them immediately and do you know why?
Because the first thing they tell me is:
"To do the quick change I turn the car off..."
ALT! Stop.
With the Linea Spindle multispindle, the machine is not switched off or stopped...
And that's where I hear, every single time, this word: "impossible!".
Oh no, the possibility exists and it is real. Linea Spindle machines are split down the middle.
To make a long story short, while the left side is machining, the right side can undergo set-up change and vice versa.
But not only that, they can machine two different workpieces and it is only you who decides whether to machine from bar or from preformed blank.
To get back to the initial question, it's actually true, I'm not the first one to talk about quick set-up change, but I am the first one to talk about double machining, change of set-up while the machine is working, and the first one to give you the possibility to choose whether to work from bar or from a preformed blank, or even, from one side the bar and from the other the blank...
Now, do you really want to tell me that I am not the first...?
